Best Paper Award

We are thrilled to announce that our paper entitled ‘Impact assessment framework of PV-BES systems to active distribution networks‘ with authors K. Pippi, T. Papadopoulos and G. Kryonidis was presented in the Mediterranean Conference on Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Energy Conversion 2020 won the MedPower2020 Best Paper Award! The award is sponsored with 500 CHF by Energies, MDPI.

MEDPOWER 2020 PRESENTATION

The project second conference paper entitled “Impact Assessment framework of PV-BES Systems to Active Distribution Networks” was presented in the 12th Mediterranean Conference on Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Energy Conversion, MEDPOWER 2020. UPEC 2020 Presentation

The project first conference paper entitled “Viability Assessment of PV Systems in University Campuses Under the Net-Metering Policy” was presented by Mrs. K. Pippi in the Virtual Conference UPEC 2020 – Verifying The Targets, 55th International Universities Power Engineering Conference. The presentation content is available in our RG and LinkedIn pages.

Project kick-off meeting

The kick-off meeting of ACTIVATE took place in Xanthi on 17/01/2020. Members of the research group from both Democritus University of Thrace and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki participated. Technical and managerial issues were discussed on the basis of the project Work Packages
