In this presentation an efficient method for event detection and noise reduction of dynamic responses based on Wavelet Transform, aiming to improve this way the quality of data used for the derivation of load models. In this presentation, a methodology for the assessment of the provision of voltage regulation and power smoothing services by PV-BES systems is described, taking into account the capacity degradation of BES. The proposed framework involves quasi-static simulations incorporating the operating conditions of the distribution network. We are thrilled to announce that our paper entitled ‘Assessing the Provision of Ancillary Services Considering BES Vapavity Degradation‘ with authors K. Pippi, G. Kryonidis, A. Nousdilis, T. Papadopoulos, presented in the 5th International Conference on Smart Energy Systems and Technologies in Eindhoven, the Netherlands was one of the three papers that detached the Best Paper Award! This is the secong best paper award of the project and in particular form the work done in WP2!
